CACTUS PLANT FLEA MARKET X NIKE AIR VAPORMAX 2019

Released in May 2019 Nike decided in honour of Air Max Day to team up with designer Cynthia Lu for an avant-garde take on the Air Vapormax silhouette. Arriving in an almost Off-White inspired deconstructed design, the upper features an exposed-seam mesh upper, underscored by a cord Swoosh and a smiley face on the heel, a nod to Nike’s ‘Just Do It’ campaign. Below, the design is padded with its trademark full-length VaporMax bag, completed in a multi-colour finish. With this shoe already receiving celebrity endorsement from the likes of Frank Ocean, I can definitely see this shoe being highly coveted and widely revered for years to come.
